Titanium operates in the financial services industry. The group offers a wide range of financial services, mainly in asset management, loan financing and pensions. The group also manages a number of investment funds and structured financial products. Titanium was originally founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Helsinki.

Probably got a nice pay raise when they served as acting CEO for a while at a listed company. Perhaps the door is now open at Carnegie for bigger roles.

Here are my comments. Titaniumin toimitusjohtaja vaihtuu yllättäen - Inderes A real shame for Titanium and a clear loss. Based on the announcement, it was Walter’s decision, not Titanium’s board’s. Now it would be of utmost importance to find a new person with an asset management background. During Walter’s tenure, the share price has come down, but this is due to Hoiva’s problems, which are not his fault. The risk of a single product backfired, which is attributable to decisions made earlier. The strategy has progressed perhaps a bit slower during Ahlström’s tenure than I originally thought, but the direction has been correct, and in my opinion, the company has mostly done the right things.

This came somewhat as a surprise and then again, not. I view Walter’s departure with equal neutrality, even though I understand Walter made strategic initiatives in the right direction. Despite everything, Titanium’s stock performance during Walter’s tenure was, frankly, dismal, and sometimes a change improves things.

Indeed, this is a kind of money market fund (which is not, however, a money market fund). However, I believe that the purpose of this product is to serve as a parking place for funds for Titanium’s clients (cf. Evli likvidi etc.) and, if necessary, to play the role of a money market in allocation. For one reason or another, Titanium has concluded that this product, with its slightly higher risk and return, is better suited to their clientele than a traditional money market fund.  Note that the product’s fee level is 0.4%, meaning it does not have a proper business function, but is purely a portfolio management tool. One more step towards comprehensive wealth management services

This is again a situation with a huge reputational risk, just to squeeze a few pennies

Our estimates have remained unchanged in the big picture and we still expect strong earnings growth in coming years. As earnings growth materializes the return expectation offered by the share is very good and it is enough to cover the higher risks of the company compared to its peers.</p>
