Consti operates in the construction industry. The company specializes in solutions that involve renovation, installation, procurement, and major restructuring work, from commercial premises to residential buildings. Operations are held on a global level, with the largest presence in the Nordic market. Customers consist of small and medium-sized corporate customers and private actors.

Here are Evli’s thoughts on Consti   Consti Q1 report showed signs of improvement in the Services business supported by tight cost control. Remount has indeed grown in recent years, especially through acquisitions, to become one of Finland’s largest renovation builders. I don’t really see this as having changed the competitive situation, as the acquired companies continue to operate independently under Remount. The company is now part of Circura Group. It might become a comparable to Consti on the Stockholm stock exchange in the coming years  .

@Atte_Jortikka has been hard at work on a new report, with some slight upward fine-tuning of the forecasts: Consti Q1'26: Tilauskanta antaa selkänojaa - Inderes Personally, I’m quite confident in Consti; the strong order backlog and the government’s budget framework decisions provide support through this difficult economic cycle. It would be good to see residential construction recover, as that might ease the competition in renovation building. By the way @Atte_Jortikka, what is your view on the Remount Group? Is it a significant threat to Consti?

At first glance, it looks quite good; the comparison period was exceeded and the result is positive: Consti Oyj osavuosikatsaus 1.1.-31.3.2026 | Kauppalehti January–March 2026 in brief: Revenue EUR 65.7 (1–3/2025: 65.6) million; growth 0.1%  EBITDA EUR 1.1 (0.8) million and EBITDA margin 1.7% (1.2%)  Operating profit EUR 0.2 (-0.1) million and operating margin 0.3% (-0.2%)  Order backlog EUR 318.9 (246.4) million; growth 29.4%  New orders EUR 166.6 (60.1) million; growth 176.9%  Free cash flow EUR -6.0 (-0.5) million  Earnings per share EUR 0.01 (-0.04)

This will surely help; another interesting point from the framework session was this: “Efforts will be made to launch public investments more quickly. Senate Properties’ (Senaatti-kiinteistöt) construction projects will be brought forward within the framework of available authorizations. Construction decisions for the projects can be made within the next 12 months.” Consti currently has a 171 million project with Senate Properties, and it’s interesting to see if more of these will become available.

Could the government’s budget session also be a boost for Consti?  Renovation grant for residential buildings for housing companies A temporary energy grant for residential buildings will be introduced to implement measures that improve the energy efficiency of residential buildings. The grant aims to promote energy renovations and repair construction in housing company buildings, and to increase employment in construction. The grant will accelerate the implementation of projects already in the planning stage and launch new projects. The grant applies to renovations and major repairs that improve the energy efficiency of the building. Repair construction will also be promoted by improving the state guarantee for housing company renovation loans and by increasing the housing reserve. A total of 110 million euros will be reserved for grants for the years 2026–2027.

Consti

Revenue amounted to EUR 65.7m and was 2% below our estimate. Lower personnel and material costs support margins. EBIT amounted EUR 0.2m versus our estimate of EUR 0.0m.
